TEMPORARY CLOSURE FOR IMPROVEMENTS

Some bad news first: Our bike night season has ended and we’ll be taking a brief break to do some jobs and get the shop ready for indoor events and Christmas shopping through Autumn & Winter.

As such, we’re really sorry but we’ll be closed until 25th October, including the next 3 weekends, which are:

• Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th October

• Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th October

• Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th October

Now some good news: We will then re-open on Saturday 25th October with a bang. We’ll have new brands in stock, new things to do, new things to see and no more portaloos* plus we’ll have Graham Sykes here that evening with his record-breaking steam rocket bike, Force of Nature, and an exciting audio-visual presentation about this aptly named machine (tickets for the evening event can be purchased from our Ticket Shop page)

We’re not going to disappear in the meantime. We’ll be getting more active on social media with content about the shop, the bikes and the biker community that’s at the heart of everything, plus updates on how the upgrades are going. We’ll also be stepping up our history project and making the most of the amazing Auto66 and Carnaby Raceway-related pictures, programmes and memorabilia people have kindly given or loaned to us to display in the shop.

We’ll also still be on site running the Fuel, Heating & Plumbing and Contract Lifting departments, so if you’ve got anything pre-ordered from the bike shop, or if there’s anything you need whether that’s parts & oil or clothing & gifts, we’ll still be here and we’ll still be able to help, we just ask that you give us a call, email or message on socials so that we can get the place ship-shape and safe for your visit (or make arrangements to serve you from the trade counter in the fuel department).

Thank you again for your support in our first few months as a biker destination. It’s been truly immense and means so much to us as a family.

Hopefully you’ll forgive us this little interruption to normal service but please know we’re making the place bigger and better for this wonderful community to enjoy.
